• Charts for flat knitting are read in the same direction you knit your work, starting from the bottom working up. For this chart, read wrong side rows from right to left (←) (odd-numbered rows) and right side rows from left to right (→) (even-numbered rows).

This is a super-quick and very easy knit that my son likes. He’s picky about hats!

Some notes about sizing .. the pattern works in multiples of four. So if 40 stitches may be too large or small, you can size up or down in multiples of four.
