The placement of the shaping (increases) is dictated by the random number generator you will use while working this shawl. No two shawls will ever be the same, but they will all be equally beautiful and engaging to knit. This is a great project to practice your brioche stitches, working only one color at a time in a reversible design.

We love this honeycomb stitch so much that we went head to toe with it! Here’s the Asali Beanie worked in the familiar stitch we did in the matching Asali Shawl and Asali Socks. This cute hat knits up in a couple of evenings using two contrasting Superwash Sport Merino Minikins.

The Asali socks are worked using contrasting colors to enhance the raised honeycomb pattern. In this case the pattern is worked from each end of the same ball of our gradient yarn in the Sobek colorway, a high contrast gradient from one end to the other.

This garment is knit in 4 pieces with shaping at the side seams. The sleeves are saddle shoulder style. The collar is picked up and knit after seaming.

A one-ball project designed specifically for our oversized Shaniko Superwash Worsted gradient yarn. This is a fun project that wonderfully shows off all the lovely qualities of this yarn, the slow-changing gradient, the plumpness and softness of the yarn, the stitch definition as well as the extended yardage.

The Highlands Scarf is inspired by the expansive views of the infinite rolling hills in the Berkshires where I live as well as my memories of travels through the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. That these mountains and valleys were linked a hundred million years ago is no surprise given their similar appearance.

I like the form follows function design concept and so does nature. For this shawl I was inspired by the concept of interlocking palm leaves. I chose two contrasting Ombré shades for the first sample, in dark colors of greys and black with a pop of yellow.
