Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This pattern has a small amount of colorwork around the top of the sock and then some more in the foot section before the toe. You can make the Waves as deep or as shallow as you like for ‘dipping your toe in’. This is currently a 64 stitch pattern and worked on 2.25mm needles and going up a size for the colorwork if required. The pattern calls...

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is a fun stripe pattern. My striped colours were based on a Clownfish. This pattern is free and I am hoping it can be used as a base pattern for many different combinations of colours and stripes. I would love to see your projects. Please feel free to add them in my Ravelry group on the Show us your Stripes thread. This thread is for all s...

Knitting: Cowl
This pattern reminded me of the Crown Jewels so have called it King Cowl. It is one size but can easily be adjusted to suit your needs by adding or deducting Chart repeats. The gauge is stated as a reference and creates a nice fabric. Depending, what your taste is and how you like your colour work to look, you can use your preferred needles to ...

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This pattern is another one inspired by my grandmothers knitwear. This is a great everyday sock. It is a 64 stitch pattern using the magic loop method although you can use the method of your choice. West Yorkshire spinners yarn comes in 100g balls and will leave you lots of yarn for another project.

Knitting: Cowl
This pattern is knit in the round to form a tube. The size can be altered by adding or deleting pattern repeats to adjust the width or length but be mindful of the amount of yarn that will be used. The pattern calls for two skeins of each colour yarn. The double thickness of the fabric makes for a very warm and thick cowl. There is the option t...

Knitting: Ankle Sock
A pattern inspired by my grandmothers favourite stitches for her cardigans. The design has a nice spring to it and is a great everyday sock. Use two yarns as per this pattern or in just one colour (also shown in the picures). West Yorkshire Spinners yarn used comes is 100g balls.

Knitting: Ankle Sock
This is a 64 stitch pattern. 9 inch circular needles were used for the ease of the colorwork but you can use needles of your preferred choice in sock knitting. Dpn’s are also used in sections of the pattern. Opal yarn comes in 100g balls, which will leave plenty of left over for another project. Happy Knitting

Knitting: Ankle Sock
Striped sock with small amount of pattern colorwork. This sock has been created as a free pattern to raise awareness for anti bullying. More details are given at the end of the pattern. The colours used are also ideal for Halloween. Autumn/Fall is nearly here! I hope you enjoy this pattern and we can all raise a bit of awareness from our knits.

Knitting: Cowl
This is a colourwork pattern, worked in the round to create a long tube, which is then twisted and joined together to form the cowl. The double thickness creates a lovely insulating fabric. This cowl can be altered in length by doing more of less rows and can also be changed in width by increasing or decreasing pattern repeats. Yarn amount will...
