Oksa-scarf

Fiskari-sweater is my love letter to my hometown Fiskars. The stranded colour work pattern is inspired by the rhythm of the village. I have hidden many historic buildings in the pattern, like the old clock tower, the mill, the fire station, and the workers houses.

Luode is a casual summer sweater. The sample is made of Aran weight cotton yarn. You can work this pattern as a lighter

Savu-sweater is a casual, loose-fit basic knit. The short body can easily be adjusted, since the sweater is knitted from the top down. The back panel has a few short rows and the hem curves 2 cm longer at back.

Kelo-cardigan

Lumi is a long and cozy cardigan, made completely of scrap yarn.

Kaisla is Finnish and it means Reed. My home lake has a thick bed of reeds on shores.This place is magical when the lake freezes. These mittens are inspired by the beautiful winter days and walks on ice through the bed of reeds.

Vanamo (Linnaea Borealis) is a small Finnish forest flower. The stitch pattern I used for these socks is delicate like this tender flower growing on the forest floor. The stitch pattern looks like lace, though it is not. It is intertwined cables worked in twisted rib. The pattern includes charts.

Suvi is Finnish and it means summer. These socks remind me of the years I used to live in Holland. The springtime turned Dutch fields into colorful patchwork of tulips and other flowers. Kide fingerless mittens feature ribbed cuffs, gusseted thumbs and special stitch pattern called Kide. This pattern is worked bottom up, beginning at wrist cuff and finished at fingers near the knuckle.

Aamu (Morning in Finnish) is inspired by the cold and sunny winter mornings in Finland. The union of mohair and cotton represents the beauty of this contrast.

Kide-hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. You can adjust the length by adding more pattern repeats for longer, more slouchy cap. Elegant crown decreases form a lovely pattern at the top. Kide-hat features a special stitch pattern that looks like ice crystals. The pattern is written out, no chart needed.

Tuuli means Wind in Finnish. This thin and airy shawl moves softly like gently falling leaves in autumn breeze. It is an easy knit project, no stitch charts needed.
