Knitting: Mittens
Be the Butterfly mittens started as a mitten kit that I designed for upcoming fibre festivals.
Knitting: Mittens
Here is a basic mitten with just enough colour work to make it an interesting knit.

Knitting: Scarf
I love scarves! They are so versatile and easy to wear.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern has been updated to include instructions for an aran weight or dk weight yarn.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
This pattern was designed to compliment my soon to be released Riverstone Sock Buddies, a full skein and mini skein bundled together to knit contrasting cuff, heel and toes.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This pattern was born from the desire to use up my scraps of sock yarn and was designed with hand dyed yarns in mind.
Knitting: Mittens
Mittens for Pamela was inspired by my awesome sister Pam who turned 50 years old in February. I wanted to create and knit an extra special pattern to mark the day. And maybe one day I will teach her to knit so she can make them as well. Love ya Pam!

The Riverstone Owl Mittens were inspired by the requests I have had for mitten patterns over the past year using some of our hand dyed yarns. When I was dreaming about designing this pattern I thought that I really wanted to incorporate a little bit of lace on the cuff edge. Just for something different.
Knitting: Mittens
After knitting a few pairs of traditional Selbu mittens I received requests from friends to teach them how to make their own mittens.
Knitting: Mittens
The Snowflake Mitts pattern was born of my desire to show off our hand dyed yarns and requests I had to teach people the colourwork mitten process. I would recommend this pattern to experienced knitters as there a few elements that the beginner might find challenging.
