This sideways triangular garter stitch scarf is very similar to the Totally Triangular Scarf but is worked in a fingering weight yarn and includes a decorative edge. It starts with 8 cast-on stitches, increases to the middle, and then decreases back down to 8 stitches. It uses the kfb increase and the k2tog decrease. The decorative edge is worked at the same time as the body of the scarf.

One skein of Malabrigo Sock is used and the sample is shown here in Ochre. Any sock or fingering weight yarn may be used. Weigh the total amount of yarn before beginning and periodically throughout the increase section. Begin decreasing when half the yarn is left.
