This all season small shawl, or shawlette, is the perfect one-skein project for a beautiful fingering weight yarn. Worked in one piece from end to end, the lace edging is knitted along with the stockinette body. Size is adjustable, based on how much yarn is used. The pattern is easy to follow and quick to knit!

One skein of SweetGeorgia CashLuxe Fine was used. The colour shown here is Riptide. Pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, and fully written as well as fully charted instructions.

Finished measurements: approximately 15 inches (38 cm) wide at middle point and 73 inches (185 cm) long, after blocking. It is important to block the finished shawlette to open the lace pattern and achieve the overall finished size. Go to leahmichelledesigns.com for a photo tutorial on wet blocking a lace shawlette.

Skills required: increasing, decreasing, basic lace knitting, blocking. Stitches used: k, p, M1R, k2tog, k3tog, ssk, yo.
