My name is Anastacia, and I am the scrap yarn/one skein queen. I buy my yarn mainly at yard sales/thrift stores, so I got used to making do with what I could find. So most of my patterns are designed to use up the odd skeins or leftovers in your life, and are geared towards beginner crocheters or those who just want a fast, easy, but still pretty item.
I’m a 30 something adult living in MA. I’m married, have a wonderful cat named Wedgie, & I work full time at my day job, in addition to teaching and designing. I do love to hear from everyone, but please remember that I am busy, just like you, & will reply as soon as I can. If you need help with a design, please join & ask at my group - someone there can probably help right away!
I’m a CGOA member & a certified knit & crochet teacher through the Craft Yarn Council of America & teach at Michael’s in Dayville, CT!
All of my patterns use USA terms & abbreviations.
I try to layout my patterns as simply as possible to save money for people printing at home. My patterns are as short as possible, usually with only one photo on the first page, which you can easily skip printing to save ink.
If you’d like to see more of my stuff, do some testing for me, and join in KALs/CALs and just have some fun chatting with like minded souls, or have any questions about my designs, please come visit us at

I am slowly adding this to my free patterns, but for the time being, if you like any of my free patterns, please consider donating money to either the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or to my cousin’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s Memory walk. My grandmother passed away from this disease, and my cousin’s father was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s in 2009 at the age of 50. thank you!
