The name for my store, “Bitchin’ Stitches,” comes from a class assignment to find and develop our heteronyms (an imaginary character or characters created by a writer). My first and most fully developed heteronym was “Bitchin’ Stitches,” a British punk rocker.

It seemed only fitting that I should name my shop after her.
