Eileen Casey

I’m Eileen Casey - from Belfast, Ireland but now living in beautiful Upstate NY, where thankfully there is plenty of sweater weather. We have two little girls aged 5 and 4, who do rather detract from my knitting time, but I don’t mind too much.

I’ve been knitting forever and couldn’t imagine my life without needles in hand. Past projects bring memories of events and junctures in my life back to me as vividly as certain scents do for others.

I was Knitwear Designer at About.com for their knitting site from 2010-11 - now that that project has ended I am expanding my own pattern line.
