Emily Byrd Adams

I’m 30 and live in Bristol, Tennessee. I just got married in March 2011 and am loving married life!! I’m a pharmacist at CVS. I love being near the mountains and living in a smaller city. I bought a little house that was built in the 50’s and spent the better part of 2007 updating it. Now the only thing left is landscaping! I love my house - it’s very cozy.

I always have at least a couple projects going at once, usually both knitting and crochet. I haven’t been sewing lately, but when I do I like to make purses. One of my goals is to make a cathedral window quilt one day. I also like to scrapbook in my (very little) spare time. Mostly, I collect paper and alphabet stickers. :) I’m currently working on a before and after book of my home improvements.

I collect vintage Pyrex dishes and old pharmacy medicine containers. I love yard sales, a good deal, junk stores, watching DVR, going out with my friends to my favorite bar where everyone knows my name and sitting by the campfire out back (yeah, it sounds unusual but it’s fantastic), and reading. Oh, and talking on the phone.
