I’m a researcher in Digital Humanities, who loves all crafts archaeology and history related. I’m fairly new to designing my own knit-wear, which has grown out of a love for un-patterns and recipes. I love working in the round and working two identical items in one go.
I live in Denmark with my husband and daughter and get inspired from the simplicity of Danish design. What I design next depends on the needs of myself and my family. I love working with wool and wool/silk or wool/bamboo blends.
If you want you ask questions about my patterns, give helpful advice or just show off your projects made from my patterns you can do so on in the group, Eddie’s Room.
I am always thrilled to have my patterns translated so I am happy to hear from anyone who would like to translate. If the pattern is free, I will send you a different one of my patterns (your choice) as a gift and if the pattern is not free I will send it to you as a gift (if you have it already I’m happy to send you a different pattern too).
On my Youtube Channel you can find knitting instruction videos that will help you if you get stuck with the different steps of the patterns.
Feel free to suggest new videos!
Did I mention that I love showing off the new pattern designs I am making on Instagram and Facebook. I try to be as open as possible about the pattern designs I publish myself using the hashtag #designinginthewild while I am in the design process. So feel free to come on over and see if I am working on something that you might want to knit :-)
If you are wondering about the drawing above - it’s done by my husband John, who I think does the most wonderful ink drawings.
