I am a busy working mum, from a wonderful creative family, in which my little venturings into design pale by comparison to the creations of my nearest and dearest. My grandmother was a seamstress, and made up beautiful dresses for my mother during WW2 using cast-offs and scraps. My twin sister Ann Kingstone is a knitting pattern designer, she also crochets, spins, paints, tats, sews, makes lace… We were both taught to knit by our mother as little girls, for which we are eternally grateful. Ann and I dream of retiring together into an eco-friendly barn conversion with a huge craft room for us and work room for our dear (but messy) husbands.
