I designed this hat during the Hogwarts Sock Kit Swap 5, as part of a SPEW (Society for Production of Excellent Wearables) project, for Bonnie Babies UK charity.

It is a variation of my first design, the Preemie Cabled Hat, where I noted that one of the cable columns reminded me of “hugs”, and could be easily adapted to also include “kisses”.

The hat is knit in rounds either on DPN’s or circular needles, with crown shaping sympathetic to the cable columns.
