I am very fortunate to have been able to move to the beautiful island of O’ahu, Hawaii at the end of January 2007. To my surprise and delight, I have discovered a very strong fiber arts community here (Aloha Knitters), as well as several wonderful local yarn shops.

I’ve been crocheting and knitting for most of my life (started around 11 or so), I am a member of the Crochet Guild of America and the International Freeform Crochet Yahoo Group, and I’ve been blogging about crochet and other fiber arts since November 2006. My username combines two loves: Hawaii and crochet! (thought I should clarify which “hooker” I am referring to).

Along with my crochet blog, I have a blog devoted to all things tarot.

As you can see, I’ve got my hands in several pots, and I’m enjoying every minute of it!
