My username is tavish for my precious Schnauzer mix,

I am a former teacher of middle schoolers. My non-teaching friends say I should be in the “nut hut” in my hometown in Indiana. They have no idea how I taught 6th, 7th and 8th graders for so long.

In a nut shell this is me:

1. “Golden Oldie** . . FINALLY, old enough for some Senior Discounts. (However, most places keep moving the age right when I get to it.)

2. Married since December 20, 2003 … 1st time for both of us . . no human children between us …so we are considered “The Odd Couple!” LOL

3. Presently, mother to 2 Fur Babies Willa the “Weiner-hound Mix” and Kitty.

4. Consider myself a Fur Baby magnet. I have had a house full (at least 1 dog an 1-4 cats at a time) for 6 years.

5. I retired in May of 2006 after 34 years of teaching 6th -> 8th grade in May of 2006.

6. Now busily designing crochet, cross stitch patterns, reading and my newest passion Zentangle.
