FUN PATTERN . . every time I make it I modify it to look different. In the last week I have made 15 (+/-) to send to the Wyoming County SPCA, a no kill animal shelter here in Western New York. They, in turn, will sell them through their donated storefront in one of the local malls.

The hook was actually a 2.55 steel hook that I have had for years. If I were to make it with another hook that everyone could find, I would use a size C / 2.75 mm.

This pattern can be made to fit any head from a preemie to an adult male. Your stitch count is based on the circumference and height of the head that will wear it. If you do not have the measurements, there is a chart that can be used for the sizes.

This is a learning game for a baby/toddler. The fish are made of multiple colors, as is the tote. The child will be able to learn colors, counting, the concept of solid and striped. If you choose to embroider an alphabet letter n each fish, it becomes an alphabet game.

Make sure to use a cup as a template. (I crochet very tight, so you may have to adjust your needle size to achieve the correct size for your cup.) This way you are guaranteed to get the corrcet circumference and heighth for your cup.
