Shannon-Jaide is a self-taught crocheter and newbie pattern designer from London, England. She strongly believes in the mantra, “Every cloud has a silver lining.” She learnt to crochet back in 2015 after suffering complications from an operation which left her unable to return to work as a nursery teacher.

She was “hooked” from the beginning; making scarves and matching bows at every opportunity. In 2017, after much encouragement from friends and family, she created The Wool Flower Co. Now, a Chronic pain and Joint Hypermobility Syndrome sufferer, she uses her pain to fuel her passion for crochet through garment and accessory designing. To her, craft really is therapy. Her other hobbies include weaving, abstract painting & sewing.
