Sheila Joynes

I am a free lance designer and instructor specializing in the techniques of Fair Isle. My goal in teaching is to make sure every student feels happy with their success thus motivating them to continue learning. I have an exclusive book, “I Can’t Believe I’m Fair Isle Knitting” published by Leisure Arts in 2012. I feel honored that my Fair Isle hat from Vogue Knitting Fall 2010 issue was chosen to be included in the Voque Ultimate Hat Book published Nov 2012. My designs are published in books and magazines from Sterling Publications, Creative Knitting, Simply Shetland , Plymouth Yarn, Vogue Knitting Fall 2010, and Designer Knitting Fall 2010. I love teaching and making some one smile. I enjoy doing something that makes my students feel good and successful about themselves. Other things that bring me joy are family, friends, sunshine, nature, a bird singing, and the natural beauty you find in life.
