The Knitting Archaeologist

The Knitting Archaeologist

I began knitting about 13 years ago, when my mom, a leftie showed me how, since then I have been knitting left-handed until about 3 years ago, when a new knitting friend showed me the joys of right hand knitting. I have always designed my own patterns for gifts, but have never published before because I didn’t realize I could. Now that I know, I hope to be more prolific and conscientious about it:)

It’s a cliche, but I knit to stay sane! In real life I’m pursuing a PhD at Brown University in Classical Archaeology. Dead people and their stuff basically:) I’ve come to the realization that I was made for Victorian living, so hopefully I’ll win the lottery so I can spend 100% of my days knitting, learning to finally crochet well, and hand quilting!
