#03 Cowl Neck Pullover
Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Winter 2009/10: “Everythin from the deep-ribbed cowl to the hip-hugging lower border is exaggerated on Patrick’s pullover. The black borders are knit in ‘Cashmerino DK’; the stripy bodice, in ‘Luxury Tweed,’ both from Debbie Bliss/KFI.”
“Oversized raglan pullover in 2-color tweed stripe with contract ribbed edges.”
Knitted Measurements:
- Sized for Small/Medium, Large/X-Large and XX-Large
- Bust 49 (51, 53)”/124.5 (129.5, 134.5)cm
- Length 28 (29, 30)”/71 (73.5, 76)cm
- Upper arm 18 (19¼, 20½)”/45.5 (49, 52)cm
Materials:
- 8 (9, 10) each 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 96yd/88m) of Debbie Bliss/KFI, Luxury Tweed (wool/angora) in #10 slate grey (A) and #15 charcoal (B)
- 8 (9, 10) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 125yd/114m) of Debbie Bliss/KFI, Cashmerino DK (wool/microfibre/cahsmere) in #1 black (C)
- One pair each sizes 8 and 11 (5 adn 8mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
- One each sizes 7 and 8 (4.5 and 5mm) circular needle, 24”/60cm long
- Stitch markers
Gauges:
- 13 sts and 16 rows = 4”/10cm over Stockinette stitch using 1 strand a and B held tog and size 11 (8mm) needles
- 20 sts and 20 rows = 4”/10cm over k1, p1 rib using 2 strands C held tog and size 8 (5mm) needles
