Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Winter 2007/08: “An alluring wrap shawl by Teva Durham flows and form-fits. Held in place with a button-loop closure and knit with ‘Moss’ from Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham/Tahki.Stacy Charles, the turquoise piece is constructed from pinwheel medallions worked separately and sewn together.”

“Individually knit pinwheels sewn into cape shape with button and loop closure. Shown on page 71.”

Knitted Measurements:

  • Pinwheel (point-to-point) 13”/33cm
  • Cape approx 40”/101.5cm wide

Materials:

  • 4 1┬żoz/50g balls (each approx 163yd/147m) of Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham/Tahki.Stacy Charles, Inc. Moss (extrafine merino wool/nylon) in #4 turquoise
  • One set (4) size 9 (5.5mm) double-pointed needles or size to obtain gauge
  • One size 9 (5.5mm) circular needle, 16”/40cm length
  • One size I-9 (5.5mm) crochet hook
  • Stitch marker
  • One 1”/25mm button
  • Tapestry needle

Note: On even rnds, work double and triple yarnovers as 1 st, dropping extra loops.
