16.5 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches
in 16.5 sts, 24 rows= 4” in stockinette stitch on US Size 8 (5mm) after blocking. The gauge of this pattern allows for optimum drape of the yarn. You may need to use a larger needle to achieve gauge.

Materials: Encore Worsted: 5, (5, 6, 7)—100g balls, color 598 OR 999 OR
Galway Worsted: 5, (5, 6, 7)—100g balls, color 200 Plumberry
OR
Worsted Merino Superwash: 4, (5, 6, 7)—100g skeins, color 28 Basil Heather
Gauge: 16.5 sts, 24 rows= 4” in stockinette stitch on US Size 8 (5mm) after blocking. The gauge of this pattern allows for optimum drape of the yarn. You may need to use a larger needle to achieve gauge.
Needles/Notions: US Size 8 (5mm) straight needles, 6 buttons; we used Plymouth Button #0001-3023 for the
Encore version, stitch markers.

The cardigan can be made with 3 different yarns, as shown in the photos. Choose which yarn you’d like to make the pullover in and gather the required materials listed in the materials box. The pattern is the same for each yarn.
