#19 Sailor Top
Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2010: “Gehlhausen memorably introduced herself on Project Runway by saying, ‘Give me a sheep and I’ll make you a sweater.’ Instead, we gave her ‘Creative Focus Linen’ from Nashua Handknits/Westminster Fibers, and she made us this oversized tunic. It’s worked in the round from the lower edge to the drop-shoulder sleeves, which are shaped by casting on additional stitches, in two variations of the same lace pattern - zigzagged for the bodice and sleeves, diagonal under the seed-stitch hip band.”
