Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2009: “With its racy racer-back straps and sheer yoke, Twinkle’s tank is nightlife-ready. The top is knit in sections of stockinette and reverse-stockinette stitch, with texture changes achieved by working single or triple strands of ‘Cruise’ from Twinkle by Wenlan/Classic Elite Yarns.”

“Loose-fitting tank with racer-back straps alternating single and triple strands in sections of stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch.”

Knitted Measurements:

  • Sized for Small, Medium, Large, X-Large
  • Bust 33 (35, 38½, 40½)”/84 (89, 98, 103)cm
  • Length, including straps 23 (23½, 24, 24½)”/58 (59.5, 60.5, 62)cm

Materials:

  • 8 (9, 10, 11) 1¾oz/50g skeins (each approx 120yd/110m) of Twinkle by Wenlan/Classic Elite Yarns Cruise (silk/cotton) in #66 river
  • One pair each sizes 6 and 8 (4 and 5mm) needle or size to obtain gauge
  • Two safety pins for markers
