The 2021 Year of International Lace celebrates the beauty of lace knitting patterns from around the world. This is the yearly lace MKAL for 2021 with one lace pattern each month. It is a great way to sample different lace patterns and have a beautiful scarf when you are finished.

Either lace weight or fingering weight yarns can be used. For a larger scarf, use larger yarns with bigger needles.

Beads? Yes, there are places to put beads, places to put more beads, or the option to ignore beads altogether. Knitter’s choice!

Upon purchasing the pattern, you will receive the introduction page with the materials list. Beginning on January 1, 2021, one new lace pattern will be uploaded each month with the final pattern arriving in November so there is plenty of time to finish and block your scarf for holiday wearing or gifting.
