This pattern is done in Tunisian/afghan stitch, and it calls for an afghan crochet hook size 5.5 or I, and a regular crochet hook, same size, for the edging and to join the panels together. The yarn called for is named “Sportspun” (now discontinued) but it was a DK weight yarn, which is needed for this pattern.
