Baby Alpaca Aire:
3, (4, 5, 6, 7)—100g balls, color 5009 Red Canyon

Gauge: 15 sts and 18 rows = 4” in st st pattern with US
10.5 (6.5mm) needles. (This is k at a looser gauge than
recommended, the recommended gauge for the yarn is
16 sts = 4”) Gauge is measured flat; fabric will stretch
when worn.

Needles: US 10.5 (6.5mm)- 24” circular
US Size 11 (8mm)- 40”, (40, 60, 60, 60) circular needle,
1 st marker (m), 3 locking st markers (m), Tapestry
needle.

Construction notes: The back is worked flat from the top. At the
bottom edge, short rows are worked for shaping and stitches are left
live. The lacework is k in one piece in the rnd, starting with the live
sts at the bottom, casting on sts for one armhole, picking up stitches
along the top cast on edge and casting on sts for the second armhole. The work is then connected. There are no seams to sew.
