Volunteer Editors Please Respect Me

I often use vintage yarns or threads that are NOT in ravelry’s database. I have still entered them and they are not linked. Or I put in information that may not have been available because ravelry changes it’s options over time. If you feel that a change is needed to my pattern page, PLEASE PM ME ON RAVELRY.

Please respect me and send me a PM. Please do not change my pattern pages.

This is another vintage pattern brought forward in time. Originally the “Three-Cornered Neck-Handkerchief” from Weldon’s Practical Crochet, Sixth Series, c 1890s. “This handkerchief may also be used as a fascinator, or covering for the head.”

This pattern has a naturally falling collar which looks quite lovely when worn as a shawlette. You can also thread a piece of ribbon through the open-work and wear this as a pretty head scarf. Once again, we have a truly functional vintage item that can be worn in many ways.

Rated as beginner to easy level. A beginner can adjust the size easily by adding rows. The border has optional beading for added elegance.

The shape is a long shallow triangle.
