Once the button bands on Carron’s turtleneck dickey, knit in Jade Sapphire Exotic Fibres ‘Mongolian Cashmere 4-ply,’ are complete, she trades the twist-stitch and rib pattern for a k1, p1 rib that’s worked in the round. The front and back panels are worked flat after the shoulder shaping is complete.

This dickey has a fold-over ribbed turtleneck with button closure and rounds out a trio of patterns featured in a special article by Cathy Carron, The Return of the Dickey.
