shamrock for st patrick’s day
i’ve added a safety pin at the back so that i can wear it

knitted in 4 pieces, stuffed and sewn together
used 2 strands of double knitting wool (any make / type)
(thinner wool and small needles will make a smaller leaf)
knitted on 4 double ended sock needles size 4mm (uk8 us6)
each leaf-let is knitted in the round and the top shaped by short rows
the stalk is knitted in round
