This beautiful yet simple blanket would make the perfect gift for any new arrival. The pretty ruffles gives the blanket added texture.

This pattern has instructions to make it the perfect size for a stroller blanket but if you need to make this blanket larger, it’s easy enough to keep adding rows until you are happy with the size.

Have fun with your colour choices – each tier can be a different colour, the petal row can be a contrasting shade or keep it neutral in one colour.

This pattern is easy enough for an intermediate crocheter or a novice if you have working knowledge of the following stitches:

• chains
• single crochet
• half double crochet
• double crochet
• treble crochet
• working in back loops and back post single crochet

Gauge, specific yarn and hook size is not critical for this project but I have stated the gauge, yarn and hook size that I have used in the pattern notes.
