Like its predecessor, A Dash of Colour, this shawlette has some careful shaping at the top so that it will sit nicely on your shoulders, then moves into some simple (and random) lace that vaguely recalls ocean waves … and shows off your yarn beautifully.

A fantastic use for one skein of awesome sock yarn, or laceweight, or handspun … the design is flexible and will work with a wide variety of yarns. Choose a needle size that gives you a nice, drapey fabric, and surf the waves!
