The following details, together with directions for the bonnet and coat given last week, complete the instructions for making a doll’s knitted outfit…

This issue of the newspaper gives the instructions for the frock, the singlet, the modesties, and the socks.

For the frock [you will need] 1½ ounces of 3-ply knitting yarn, five tiny pearl buttons, a steel crochet hook (No. 1 size) and one yard of ribbon (this is for the sash). Then the singlet, modesties and socks will take 1½ ounces of 2-ply knitting yarn, ¾ yard, of narrow ribbon, a small piece of elastic, and you will want two No. 9 needles and a pair of No. 14 steel knitting needles. The directions given here will make garments 14 inches in length.

The pattern Part 1 was printed the previous week.
