You will enjoy making this smart jumper, which is worked in a wide rib—so simple that the beginner cannot help but make a success of it. It is ideal for tennis, or hiking, while if you are planning cruising you will find it a useful garment to possess.

The instructions are very brief and simple, and the work will be a pleasure. The jumper can be made with white wool, or if you prefer, in a pastel shade.

MATERIALS REQUIRED.
Seven ounces 4-ply wool in desired color. One pair each of Nos. 9, 10 and 12 knitting needles.

Tension: Work at a tension of about 13 sts. to 2 in. in width over the main part.

The jumper should fit a 32-34 in. bust.
