Knitted in the round in two contrasting colors. Starting with a pretty textured mock cable edge, next a two color rib pattern, followed by a pleasing sprinkling of stars in the form of beads. The hat ends with an option to have either lacy open decreases or a more tight, traditional one.

For head circumferences of: 20/21/22/23.5”. Pattern can easily be adjusted either down or up in size.

C1: 35/40/50/60 yards Black
C2: 227/240/253/269 yards Slate,

Notions needed
US size 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle 16” (40 cm) in length or whatever size gives you the proper gauge.
Optional: US size 3 (3.25 mm) double pointed needles. The samples were knit solely with circular needles to stretch the crown decreases, you may like a tighter look.
4 Stitch markers, one being different to mark beginning of round.

Size 0.75 mm crochet hook to add beads with, optional method

Gauge
11 sts and 15 rows in 2“ of Stockinette stitch knitted flat.
NOTE: Make a swatch, so your hat will actually fit you, with the needle size giving you the proper gauge. I am a loose knitter, you may not be.
