A Taste of Summer is the second in my small shawl MKALs & KALs I’m offering this year. This will be a KAL. A welcome letter will be sent out on the pattern’s release May 27th. The KAL will start on June 3rd when the pattern itself will be released. The KAL is being hosted in my Criminal Knits…for the Serial Knitter in all of us. group = come join us for all the fun!

Materials:
1 480yd 100 gram skein of Wolle’s Color Changing Cotton or any other fingering yarn. You need a minimum of 480 yds to work this pattern.

If you are a very loose knitter I would suggest having more available yardage as it is very easy to knit looser and looser as you work this shawl, or, consider using smaller needles as suggested below.

Size 8 16” for cast on and Size 6 16” & 40” circular needles for the body

NOTE: If you are a very loose knitter (for example you ran out of yarn working A Glimpse of Spring), please use Size 6 16” for the cast on and Size 4 40” for the body
