This beautiful stocking is inspired by my Irish roots and is made using aran weight yarn. I’ve used Red Heart Super Saver and Caron One Pound in the variations I’ve made. For both variations I have had yarn left over using just one skein. I used both size 6/4 mm double pointed needles and a size 6/mm circular knitting needle. I find using the circular knitting needle is easier for me when I am working the cables. Working an afterthought heel and kitchener stitch is used in this pattern. As I didn’t describe the kitchener stitch within the pattern I am adding a link to the YouTube video I used to learn it to these notes.
