Aero was inspired by a sketch I made one afternoon and it reminds me of birds/wings. I love the bird-esque lines and the modern color-blocking.

The shawl is made in three pieces and joined together with a three-needle bind off. It uses basic intarsia and color-blocking to achieve the modern-looking splashes of color. Knitted in a lovely worsted weight yarn, it works up fast and quite large.

The pattern includes a diagram of the shape of the shawl to help with color placement and to help you wrap your head around the unique shape and construction!

Finished Measurements: 22 inches along center stitch from cast on edge to point. 74 inch wingspan along top edge. Measurements are taken after blocking, and may change depending on the fiber of the yarn used, tension, needle size, and how much the fabric is stretched while blocking.

Recommended Yarn: Worsted weight
