AFTER PARTY. 2AM. MY CRIB.

Everybody who has had a baby knows that they love to throw after parties - just when everyone else has wound down for the night! This blanket is for wrapping up those little after party pranksters and rocking them back to sleep.

This blanket is easily adapted in width and length to make it a full size throw. Instructions are included in the pattern. The border of this blanket uses a join-as-you go technique that is also easily adapted to any size.

SKILL:
Intermediate - mostly because of the cables and yarn overs

YARN:
Main Color - Approximately 850 yds (735 m) of worsted weight yarn. Sample uses Patons, Canadiana in Crantini.

Contrast Color 1 - approximately 200 yds (185 m) of worsted weight yarn. Sample uses Patons, Canadiana in Light Grey Mix

Contrast Color 2 (CC2) - approximately 140 yds (140 m) of worsted weight yarn. Sample uses Patons, Canadiana in Medium Grey Mix

GAUGE:
20 sts x 26 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stocking stitch, blocked with larger needles

NEEDLES:
US #7 / 4.5 mm circular needles and dpns or size needed to obtain gauge
US #6 / 4 mm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

ADDITIONAL TOOLS:
Cable needle, 7 stitch markers

FINISHED DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 32 x 42” / 81.5 x 106.5 cm, including border. Pattern can be easily adapted in size.
