The Ahead hat was inspired by the simplicity of the Forward cowl. With a matching stitch pattern, Ahead can be worn as a compliment to Forward, or by itself as a colorful addition to any outfit.

Ahead is knit in the round with both written and charted instructions available. The reverse stockinette and stockinette stitches create a series of bas-relief arrows going in one direction.

Ahead can be made in 2 sizes, XS and S-M.

Gauge:
XS: 20 sts in 4” (10cm) and 20 rows in 2.5” (6.25cm) measured over stitch pattern, US 6 (4mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
S-M: 20 sts in 4.25” (10.5cm) and 20 rows in 2.625” (6.5cm) measured over stitch pattern, US 7 (4.5mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Please note that 2 strands of yarn are held together throughout the project.
