Design inspiration can strike at any time. After seeing an everyday road sign, the Forward cowl was born. Arrows of stockinette and reverse stockinette stitches were all that was needed to create the clean, simple bas-relief that will make Forward a wardrobe staple.

2 strands knit together. I used 210 yards of each.

Size: 19.5” (49.5cm) length {39” (99cm) circumference} x 5” (12.5cm) height

Gauge: 20 sts in 4.875” (12cm) and 39 rows in 5” (12.5cm) measured over stitch pattern

Needle: US 7 / 4.5 mm ; 32” circular needle
