This pattern assumes knowledge of knitting terminology and abbreviations.

A kimono-style cardigan worked entirely in seed stitch. Full-hip length with waist shaping and an overlapping front with a small stand-up collar. The full length sleeves are straight, like those of a Gi and the belt is a smaller version of an Obi, which is worked in a firm fabric stitch in a contrasting color. The belt is double wrapped so it’s very long but I’ve also given instructions for a shorter length, single wrap option as well.
