This blouse is oversized to allow for drape and blousing. The neckline, waistline, and cuffs are all adjustable by drawstring to allow for personal fit preference. The cuffs fall approx half way down the hand and have a little flounce to them. The lace trim is knit first and then the sts for the rest of the garment are picked up. The lace patterns used in this top are easy and work quickly so although it is a full size top, the work goes rather fast. Happy Knitting!!
When choosing yarn for this project, you will want to go with fibers that are similar to silk such as bamboo or linen. Wools and cotton behave differently and you will not get the same drape and fit as with a silk-like fiber.
