Alene is a simple beginners knit for a stylish cowl or a longer infinity scarf in super chunky yarn with buttons that allow many ways of wearing it.
You can choose between a simple cowl, which you can either wear straight, in a moebius twist or half opened - great for people who can not decide which way they prefer.

If the simple cowl is not chunky enough for you, then just go for the scarf version which you can wrap around twice and Alene will definitely keep your neck warm.

The used gauge is slightly narrower than recommended by the yarn manufacturer to make sure the cowl does not collapse.

You will need four big buttons for the scarf version or five for the cowl.
