A symphony of short-row shaping gives this skirt a drape that flatters and is easy to wear. The edges of the skirt are shaped to fold over each other, creating an interesting line and preventing unwanted flip-ups (nothing romantic about them!). Dupioni ribbon fabric, cut into strips and knit loosely, worked with double yarn overs in the lower area of the skirt, yields a garment that retains a handknit feeling without being too heavy or cluttered.
