MC: Black Trillium Yarns Lilt Sock, 85% Superwash Merino / 15% Mulberry Silk, 405 yards (370m) per 3.5 oz (100g) skein. Color: Sugarplums, 1 skein

CC: Black Trillium Yarns Lilt Sock, 85% Superwash Merino / 15% Mulberry Silk, 202 yards (185m) per 1.76 oz (50g) skein. Color: Natural, 1 skein

NOTE: The pattern requires most of each skein. If substituting yarns, use the per skein yardages listed for each color.

This pretty, two-color, crescent shaped shawl is worked from the top down beginning with a garter tab cast-on. Rows of eyelets are separated by bands of garter stitch to show off the variegated yarn. The bottom edge is finished with a simple slipped stitch pattern and picot bind-off.

It is not necessary to cut the yarn on two and four row color changes. Simply carry it loosely up the side of the work twisting the yarns to avoid long floats.

Although this is a shawl, it is important to obtain gauge in order to avoid running out of yarn and to have your finished shawl match the size shown. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain gauge. The gauge given in the pattern is a blocked gauge.
