The SKEINO ALPACA MERINO SHAWL is a 2-yarn piece and a dream to knit. The secret of this beautiful shawl is that the shawl uses two different yarns and it is knitted entirely in Garter Stitch. One of the fibers is a brushed Baby Alpaca yarn and the other one is our Fine Merino yarn (BIANCA lace yarn). You will knit the shawl in a 3-row repeat, 1 row Baby Alpaca and 2 rows Merino. To avoid cutting the yarn when you change the yarn, you just slide the needle to the side where the yarn is for the upcoming row. It is that easy and it adds a nice extra effect to the texture of the finished piece.

The feel of the knitted piece is unbelievably soft and the shawl is feather light!

This is an easy project and great for beginners.
