One of the most fun parts of exploring Forge and Weld has been seeing how they work with other yarns, including those made by some of our favorite industry friends. We’ve loved seeing all the pairings of Weld and Spincycle Yarns’ Dyed in the Wool and Nocturne in colorwork, which got Sloane thinking about what would happen if you combined those yarns’ magical color changes with Weld’s lovely heathers in a textured marl.

Among Friends is a meditative, ultra-wearable hat that uses a sequence knitting stitch pattern to produce a gentle texture that brings out the colors of both yarns. Sized for everyone on your list and knittable no matter what you’re watching, reading, or listening to, this is a must-knit for your late-winter queue.
