Wrap yourself in some delicate, soft and squishy lace and you will not want to take it off.
Anais is a triangular shawl, worked from the point on the left side of the shawl. Stitches are gradually increased along the upper edge forming a triangle, and the bind-off edge becomes the right side of the shawl.
The pattern contains both written and charted instructions.

Skills needed
Long-tail cast-on, garter stitch, increases, decreases, working a lace pattern following either a chart or written instructions.

One size:
Wingspan: approx 170 cm/ 67 in.
Depth at the widest point: approx 70 cm/ 27.5 in.

(measured after blocking)
1 pattern repeat of 11 sts and 36 rows in Japanese Feather pattern is 6 cm/ 2.4 in wide and 12 cm/ 4.75 in high.

780 m/ 858 yds of smooth lace yarn with good stitch definition. Shown in Debbie Bliss Rialto Lace (100% extrafine merino wool superwash, 390 m/ 429 yds per 50g, col. Sea Green 25).
Use yarn that blocks well - 100% wool will work best.
3.75 mm/ US # 5 circular needle, at least 80 cm/ 32 in long or size to obtain correct gauge
